Enrichment Activities

Let’s get growing! Spring is here, and it’s time to roll up our sleeves and jump into gardening fun with Ms. Thomas and Ms. Landsman. We’ll care for our campus gardens, learn how plants grow, and discover what it takes to keep them healthy and thriving. Students will plant flowers and plants around campus and create their very own plant to take home and nurture all season long!

Our program seeks to impact young children through soccer in ways that will enhance their character development, teamwork, and introduce basic soccer skills in a creative way. Our goal is to observe and help children improve their soccer technique while building a curriculum that has an innovative framework to impact their daily lives. We use these building blocks for growth and exercise to encourage children to use their imagination, problem solving, and creative minds in a positive and effective way. LET’S HAVE FUN!

The SJPDS Green Team is looking for motivated students to make their school a greener place! Help us come up with creative ways to be eco-friendly, implement community efforts, and reduce our footprint, one idea at a time! We are accepting students from K-5. Meetings will be the first Monday of every month beginning on October 6th at 3:45 p.m. in the Art Room.

Your brain is your superpower… …аre you ready to use it? Join the Chess Wizards community today for fun, friendship, and some serious chess skills. All experience levels welcome. We make chess fun for everyone! Chess Wizards offers challenging chess lessons, fun group activities, exciting tournaments, and more! If your child is brand-new to chess, we’ll teach them the basics and get them playing right away. If they’re a seasoned checkmate artist, they’ll learn new ways to show their creativity on the chessboard.

Storybook Chefs is a fun, hands-on program that brings children’s books to life through cooking! Each session, students will enjoy a read-aloud of a food-themed picture book and then participate in a simple, age-appropriate cooking activity inspired by the story.

Play Golf at St. John’s Parish Day School! Our multi-week program is ideal for all players — from beginners to experienced pickleball players — and is designed to refine skill, achieve success, promote discovery through play and provide a pathway to Keep Playing!®

The Kindness Club fosters empathy, compassion, and essential skills that children will carry with them for life. It provides a safe, structured setting to explore the power of compassion and the true meaning of friendship. Our club is a team of superheroes who spread kindness and positive vibes at school. They come up with fun ideas like leaving surprise notes in library books, helping people out, or doing acts of kindness in the community. It’s a club where kids learn to be extra nice and make the world a better place, one good deed at a time!
