STEM Day & Open House Success!
This weekend’s Family STEM Day was OUT OF THIS WORLD 🌎 ! We had 🚀 outer space-themed 🪐STEM activities for children ages 3-10 throughout the building. Everything from galaxy-themed sensory bottles, to Space Invader coding, Alka Seltzer bottle rockets and hovercrafts made out of balloons and CDs- we had it all! There were exploded star paper circuits being engineered, Lego robotic rocket ships launching, and space-themed stop motion animation films being produced. Despite the snow-covered roads, we had over 400 people attend our Open House and STEM event this year!
We are so proud to share our incredible program with people outside of our community to show what truly makes St. John’s Parish Day School so special. A HUGE and special THANK YOU to our STEM Teacher, Mrs. Alison Wilkins! She worked tirelessly with the help of her committee to make this event fun, educational, and a roaring success! Thank you to our staff who spent their Saturday with us, ensuring that this event was absolutely perfect. We already can’t wait to do this again! Check out our Facebook Page for more photos and to keep in the loop!
