We've got some exciting news about our science program that we wanted to share:
1. Our science students are winners!
The Baltimore Ravens’ “Sacks for Science” sponsorship has recognized our Science Program. As our reward, The Maryland Science Center will welcome the entire St. John’s Parish Day School’s Lower School, free of charge (buses included) on Friday, April 13th to experience Constellation’s Power Up! Energy Exhibit and to explore the museum!
A note from Mrs. Solomon:
As the new Science teacher for K-5th grade, I seek to empower our students by imparting knowledge, skills, resources and unique experiences to augment their abilities and talents. This special opportunity to explore the Maryland Science Center will immerse the students in many fields of Science.
2. The Mobile Ed Productions "Steam" Museum is coming!
Our Auditorium and All Saints Hall will be transformed into a high-tech, interactive museum for our 4-year-olds through 5th graders to enjoy on Thursday, May 10th. Some highlighted hands-on experiences will include:
- 3D Printer
- Humanoid Robot
- Friction Raceway
- Bike Generator
A note from Mrs. Bentivenga and Mrs. Solomon:
By exploring the “STEAM” exhibits, our motivated students will be able to construct new meanings and be inspired to become innovators within domains that are of interest to them. We are certain this opportunity will foster our students' internal determination to bring their novel “STEAM” ideas to fruition one day!
We hope you're all as excited as we are!
