St. John's Parish Day School, in Association with St. John's Episcopal Church, was delighted to host our annual Blessing of the Animals last week! We invited our community to bring their pets (stuffed animals and photos were welcome, as well) to receive a Blessing from one of our clergy, Chaplain Gigie Sijera-Grant, Rector, Rev. Mary Sulerud, or assisting clergy, the Rev. Canon Dr. Kristopher Lindh-Payne (parent of SJPDS 5th Grader). We gathered on our front lawn on a beautiful sunny afternoon and had our sweet furry (and not furry!) friends receive a blessing, in honor of St. Francis, patron saint of animals.

 

 

It was a wonderful event and we appreciate all who were able to attend! Go Bears!
