SJPDS is partnered with Kenya Connect, an educational outreach program that brings educational materials, technology, medicine, and more to the people of Kenya. Each year, St. John's hosts our Walk for Wamunyu to raise money for Kenya Connect. This year, our community expected all expectations and raised over $18,000! This incredible fundraising effort went towards drilling a new well in Wamunyu, providing a clean, sustainable water source for the people! 

 

   Our students had an amazing time walking, running, skipping, and galloping to raise funds for this important cause- even our mascot, Spirit Bear, got in on the fun! We are proud to be supporting such a wonderful organization and are eternally grateful for the generosity of our SJPDS community!

   We are so proud that we were able to exceed our goal and are grateful to our Top Three Earners! 5th Graders Kylie, Emma, and Noelle will be awarded a hand-carved medal from Kenya for their efforts. Way to go, Bears!
