"Hello! My husband Steve and I recently relocated to Ellicott City. I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio but have lived and taught in Wilmington Delaware, Buffalo New York, and most recently New Orleans. We are “empty nesters” with two grown/married children living in North Carolina and Illinois. I have been teaching Pre-K for 35 years and feel thrilled and blessed to have the opportunity to teach in one of the 5 full-day four-year-old classes at St. John’s. Seeing the smile on a child’s face as they discover something new or master a new skill is the reason I love teaching. I can’t imagine not spending my days with children and I’m really looking forward to the start of school. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, traveling to see family, and working in my yard. (I’ll take any helpful pointers on sharing your yard with deer.)
