The Kingsley Scholarship Fund was established in 2004 by Mrs. Sally Goss, a Parishioner of St. John’s Episcopal Church. The purpose is to honor the memory of her husband George Kingsley. Funds from the Kingsley Endowed Scholarship Fund are to provide financial assistance to a student or student who is a person of color who has been admitted to St. John’s Parish Day School. In this way, the Kingsley Fund will ensure the quality and diversity of the Parish Day School in the pursuit of its mission to educate the whole person to excellence, nurturing each student’s unique gifts.
Eligibility
Any person of color who has been admitted to the Parish Day School is invited to apply for the Kingsley Scholarship. Special consideration will be given to applicants who will matriculate from the Early Childhood, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten grades. Demonstrated financial need is also an important criterion.
